General cleaning is something that most public transport operators know how to do
very well - its not our business to change something that isn’t broken. However
there are often problematic issues that can arise on the interior and exterior surfaces
of trains, buses and trams:
The good news is that all of these problems are 100% solvable via the Recover Strategy
- part of the Recover, Care and Repair Regime from GTECH Strategies Limited. The
Recovery Strategy was successfully used by London Underground during the late 1990s
to return rapidly deteriorating materials to a satisfactory condition.
Surveyof the fleet both ‘in service’ and in the depot by an experienced assessor
to determine the modes & extent of material deterioration.
Recommendation- Provision of a report detailing the recommended Recovery Plan, which
includes cost estimates for the processes detailed in the Plan.
Demonstrations- of all the recommended materials, equipment and processes to improve
the condition of materials.
Project Management- during implementation of the Recovery Strategy.
